Earlier this year, I discussed Meta's exploration of introducing subscription tiers across certain services. The strategy involves preserving the existing free access to each platform while introducing premium functionalities available through monthly payments. This balanced approach allows users who prefer no-cost usage to continue as usual, while those interested in enhanced capabilities can opt for the paid tier. Who knows—perhaps subscription revenue could eventually reduce Meta's reliance on data harvesting! (One can always hope.)
